How to control your anger
Don’t waste your energy anymore! When you explode in anger, whatever the reason may be, not only do you provoke a rush of adrenaline, but also more importantly, you will have gained absolutely nothing.Terrorizing your company is not always the best means of communication. By controlling your aggressiveness, not only will you win in self-love but also in your power to persuade. Whether you’re in the presence of a colleague, a friend or a stranger, know how to place more importance on calm rather than on temper. This is the basic rule of emotional intelligence.
People who fly off the handle too easily are unaware to which point their reaction is totally unjustified. With children for example: to show authority does not necessarily imply anger. Of course, sometimes it’s necessary to raise your voice once in a while. We feel better afterwards, but this cannot become a way of life, unless you would rather see your friends run in the opposite direction.

Developing your emotional intelligence
Listen, rather than bite. Imagine you are under verbal attack and you totally lose your temper. Practice talking it out with your “aggressor”, even if it’s not that easy. At some point, your opponent will abandon the fight because not unlike a game of tennis: if no one is there to receive the ball, there’s no game left to play! Channel your emotions. If any tiny misunderstanding easily ticks you off, what would your reaction be in a situation of graver nature? It’s not only a matter of shutting up, instead try to size the situation up and see if it’s worth the turmoil.
Control your voice.
Increasing the volume is proof that you are unable to control yourself. There is nothing wrong with laughing very loudly, but it is a waste of breath to yell and scream when you are angered. Use the following tip, often used by young delinquent educators: lowers your tone of voice as your opponent raises his. Speak slowly and less and less loudly. The person opposite you will do the same without even noticing it. Who could get irritated by a soft voice?
Managing your tension.
Modern life is very stressful and so filled with concerns that one can easily fly in a rage for no real reason. Relax, take up a hobby, and learn how to relax by cutting yourself off from the outside world. When a motive for anger arises, take a deep breath and take the time to analyze the situation.
